What We Do
As a family breeder, we aim to place our Goldens in loving homes and live a long and happy life.
Our drive is improvement. By testing for common problems of the breed and only breeding the healthiest Goldens, we provide puppies with a better chance to grow up and live a happier life.
This involves seeking out the healthiest Goldens for our breeding program and matching our puppies to the best homes based on the needs of their new family and the needs of each individual puppy. With our higher standards of health, we hope to find new Golden owners that aim for the same goals as us.
Everything Makes a Difference
🐾 Nutrition 🐾
Why is this important?
Life begins and continues with nutrition, it is the foundation for life. The better the quality of nutrition, the better the quality of life for your Golden.
What do we feed our Goldens? We feed our Goldens Nutra-Nuggets brand dog food, a better quality food than most bargain brands. We also feed our Goldens raw meat once a week and uncooked bones.
What do I feed my new puppy?
When you decide to purchase food for your new Golden, be sure to look for a high quality Puppy food. This will have meat as the First ingredients and less fillers like corn and rice. All dog foods will have some type of filler, but it's important to reduce fillers as much as possible.
There are so many choices!
There are many great options for dog food out there so feel free to explore and find what works for you. Be sure to do your research on the company reputation and the dog food ingredients then choose what works best with your budget.
Dont forget!
Always adjust their food intake properly based on their activity level. Provide a clean 24 hour water supply.
🐾 Exercise 🐾
Exercise is just as important as nutrition!
keep your puppy active in order to improve heart health and joints throughout their development.
Goldens are an amazing breed. They have the stamina to go on long hikes and the intelligence to pick up on new, challanging tasks. Always keep in mind that they will need plenty of water during long walks and hikes. Keep in mind of temperatures to protect their paw pads from burning and prevent them from overheating. Goldens are very resilient, but they do have their limitations.
